Know before you book

  • You must be 9 or older.
  • If you are pregnant, you should not take part.
  • If you have back, neck, joint, or muscular problems, you should carefully consider whether to participate.
  • You must be able to swim on your own.
  • You do not need previous surfing experience.
  • Hours of operation are Tuesday–Thursday, Saturday-Sunday 7 AM to 5 PM, and from 9 AM on Fridays
  • Participants must be under 100kg, able to swim unaided and of reasonable health and fitness.

What you can expect

Feel the excitement of stand-up paddleboarding on the best waves of Sandgate Beach. No prior experience is needed for you to enjoy this casually paced introduction to an iconic ocean activity.

In the morning, travel to the beautiful white sand of Sandgate Beach. Once you collect your paddleboard, enjoy the beautfiul beach and safe environment. Have fun paddling!
