You board the Natchez near the illustrious French Quarter, and then watch as the crew throws off the mooring lines and listen to the puff of steam engines as the massive paddle wheel pushes you off along the Mississippi's winding banks. As you cruise, listen for the catchy jazz riffs of the Dukes of Dixieland as you relax in the comfortable interior by the bar or out on the open-air deck.

We were very disappointed that the "with English"

narration promised was a very short blurb before set off - nothing else explaining what we were passing, etc... On the bright side, the jazz band was fabulous and the food was OK.

Don’t bother with the dining option as the food

really isn’t that good and it takes away from the time you have on the ship. The band was wonderful and the view was worth the money.
