Description

Travel back in the time through the dark and eerie past of New Orleans—a history filled with unsolved mysteries, bloody massacres, vampirism, and voodoo. Stroll the streets to mysterious and supernatural sites, from a ghostly graveyard to the most haunted house in the city. This tour allows guests to stop in at different bars along the tour route and purchase drinks in to go cups!

Meet your guide in the heart of the French Quarter and set off into the shadowy streets. With your local expert leading the way, listen to spine-chilling tales of murder and mayhem, and the ghosts who are said to still haunt the neighborhood.

Stay close to your guide as you pass by the infamous LaLaurie Mansion, where a sinister socialite tortured and murdered her slaves. Learn the gut-twisting tale of her vicious violence and her eventual escape to France.

From here, you continue on to the Beauregard-Keyes House, the former home of a Civil War general. Hear of the ghosts who are said to walk the historic halls, and the horrifying screams and sounds of war that take over the home at night.

Your walk then leads you by St. Louis Cathedral, a towering church said to be haunted by former monk Pere Dagobert. Continue on to Sultan's Palace—the alleged site of an 1800s massacre.

Visit a mass burial ground during this tour and learn about the traditional burial practices and why the above ground tombs are used over and over again. (The mass burial ground that this tour visits does not have above ground tombs)

No New Orleans tour would be complete without hearing stories and visiting a location once owned by the Voodoo Queen, Marie Laveau. Learn of the power she's thought to still possess today from beyond the grave and hear how she saved a man on trial for murder by using voodoo.

A real paranormal detector will be used during this tour.
