Travel to the Santa Maria Novella Station in central Florence, where a representative waits for you and guides you to the train. Enjoy the stunning Italian countryside from your comfortable seat and reach Venice in just 2 hours to start your independent tour of the floating city. With your 24-hour Vaporetto ticket, take advantage of unlimited use of the city's water taxi and waterbus system and delve into a labyrinth of alleys, canals, and bridges.

Marvel at the splendid architecture as you explore the beautiful St. Mark's Square, perhaps stopping for a cappuccino in one of the numerous cafés in the area. Admire the majestic Doge's Palace (the Duke's former home) and the grand St. Mark's Basilica, one of the best-known examples of Byzantine architecture. Trip was fantastic! The only thing I would change is for the tour to be more specific on where to meet at the train station.

Been to Venice a few times. The sights are great, their cuisine is not very good. The public water taxis are bad and I am surprised by how most non-Americans act when getting in line for something. I can see why there are overcrowding accidents. They push and shove their way with no regard for safety or manners. I have no need or desire to go to Venice again unless it’s a free trip.
