Journey along Diamond Creek Road, the only route that descends from the Grand Canyon's rim to its bottom, and set out on a long and adrenaline-pumping whitewater rafting adventure. A friendly, knowledgeable guide from the Hualapai Indian tribe offers fascinating information about the area and its rich history. Once you reach the canyon's bottom, you will board a comfortable, 8-passenger motorized raft. Your guide navigates this exciting voyage along the Colorado River, spanning about 37 miles (48 km).

Zigzag your way along the magnificent river, taking on Class II-IV rapids, before stopping for a short hike through a postcard-worthy Travertine Falls side canyon. After enjoying a picnic lunch on the riverbanks, it's time to get back in the raft and continue your adventure down-river.

Take in some of the country's most incredible scenery and keep an eye out for wildlife as you kick back on a more peaceful stretch of the river. Pass through 4,000-foot (1,219-m) cliff walls. Keep an eye out for big-horn sheep, common to the area.

At the end, take a quick helicopter ride from the canyon's bottom up to the rim before a relaxing ride back to your hotel.

Picnic lunch provided, includes complimentary snacks (peanuts, cookie varieties) and a variety of beverages are available throughout trip. On ride up, bagels, cream cheese, fruit & juice is provided.

  • Lunch: Sandwich-turkey/ham, lettuce, tomato, cheese on hoagie roll and chip variety
