Description

The fire and fury of the air wars of World War II await you in a vividly realized exhibition that brings the action back to life. Dangerous Skies takes you back to the vicious struggle for control above Europe with larger-than-life dioramas and aircraft that put you in the midst of history.

Filling an entire hangar at the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, this exhibition takes advantage of detailed computer imagery, laser projections, and surround sound to set the scene for some of World War II's most infamous battlegrounds. With a special emphasis on the Eastern Front, you're given a look at the wreckage of Stalingrad through the ruins of a factory building as Luftwaffe bombers dive in from overhead.

Along with an educational piece highlighting the fallen of the war, you can see a collection of wartime aircraft that are still kept ready for action. Get an up-close look at the machinery of battle with an experience that puts you in the midst of the last century's grimmest days.
