Amazing time water rafting adventure. I would do it again any time! The experience was awesome. My husband and I were picked up from our resort in Puerto Plata, took 3 hours to get to the Ranch(15min stop at gas station for pee break) we had a great breakfast, plenty to choose from, then another 20min drive to the site to raft. Our tour was cut short because someone broke there arm falling off the raft, but it was amazing what we got to experience. The rafting was super fun, big waves and drops, the current was strong and really rough, just how it should be haha. Coming back we returned to the ranch for lunch, your typical Dominican plate and an alcoholic beverage. They bathrooms where nice and big at the ranch, there is even a shower. I would bring a towel and change of cloths if you are staying far, don't want to ride all the way back wet. Sunblock and repellent is a must. Water shoes a must! If not you can buy your own at the gift exchange there for $10USD. Cheap ones, but they get the job done, lots of rocks out there so it's needed. The bus had Wi-Fi which was awesome to kill time, call loved ones, Facebook, etc, it was a long ride there and back so it's appreciated. Also, when riding in the van, avoid the back seat bench, sit in an actual seat so you can recline, roads in DR are pretty bad so it will be a bumpy ride. The tour guides speak English and the will show you a video and explain it to you all over again once you get on-site, please listen and pay attention, do what they say! They know more than anyone how to have a good and SAFE time. The guy who broke his arm did not pay attention to safety details and that's what got him there.

Though the drive to the site was longer than I had expected, it was a nice opportunity to see the country side. Had a wonderful guide and the rafting experience was great!
