Description

Take a scenic drive into the Yukon, heading over the snow-dusted slopes around White Pass as you dip into Canada. Hop on the Kawasaki Cart and enjoy a sled dog mushing experience with a team of husky sled dogs on this engaging day trip. Chat with a real dog sled racer to find out what it's like to run the world famous Iditarod!

Join your guide at the cruise ship terminal and hop in Skagway's most deluxe Limo Bus or Comfortable tour van for a beautiful drive up the Iconic White Pass summit, stopping at lofty vantage points to soak up sweeping views that crossover between Alaska and Canada. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife including lumbering grizzly bears and sure-footed sheep, chat with your guide about the history of White Pass in the Gold Rush era.

Head into Canada for your stop at the camp of Iditarod racer Michelle Phillips & Ed Hopkins to visit with playful husky pups and learn how they'll be trained into rugged dog sled champions. Go for a ride to see what it's like to shoot along Yukon trails, and don't forget to snap a few photos in front of the “Welcome to the Yukon” sign.

After this incredible adventure you will be dropped off back at your ship or down town Skagway to enjoy the rest of your time in Port.
