What you can expect

We’ll collect you in the morning in Llandudno Junction Railway Station and transport you in comfort to the trailhead on the western side of Wales’ highest peak—set against dramatic scenery yet far from the busier crowds.

What the day includes:
Pick-up at Llandudno Junction Railway Station, transport to the start point of the Snowdon hike, and return at the end of the day.

A fully guided walk of approx. 14 km with 900 m of ascent, to the summit of Snowdon via a well-established but quieter route.

Passage through farmland and forest, old mountain trails, dramatic ridges and slopes, culminating in 360° panoramic views from the summit (weather permitting!).

A relaxed pace guided for novices through to seasoned walkers alike — making the mountain truly accessible but authentic.

What to expect:
You’ll begin in gentler terrain—walking through open farmland and greener lower slopes—before the path enters its more rugged mountain phase. After rising steadily through zig-zags, you’ll reach the higher ridges and finally the summit where you can pause, soak in the views, and celebrate. Then we descend back and you’ll be transported back to Llandudno in comfort.

Suitable for you:
Whether you’re relatively new to mountain walks or are a seasoned adventurer seeking something more peaceful than the tourist routes, this day is ideal. The ascent is significant (900 m) so a reasonable fitness level is required, but the pace and guidance will make it fully achievable for keen walkers. The fact we’ll use a lesser-used route means you’ll enjoy the beauty of the mountain without the crowds.

Practical notes:
Good walking boots, weather-proof outer layers and a day-pack with water and snacks will make for a comfortable experience.

Midweek bookings are recommended for that extra sense of tranquillity.

The walk is approximately 6-7 hours (including breaks) so plan for a full day.

Join us for this unforgettable climb to the top of Wales — the summit, the silence, the view. Ready for your mountaintop memories?
