“The staff was very nice and helpful. there was a horrible neighbor with kids that played and shouted loudly until extremely late - it was pretty terrible, but that's not the motel's fault. I'm giving it 4 stars because the beds were extremely old - the mattresses literally dipped down visibly in the middle - and the sink/counters/etc., were all rusted or blackened. But as I said, the staff was great and it was very clean. ”

“Sliding door does not have a screen to allow fresh air in and the back window does not have a blackout curtain, but the front does. Otherwise a nice unit with a great view. Seemed to be at the upper price scale.”

“Beautiful view and right next to a beach path. Room was hot though and no fans or ac. Staff was nice but the town didnt have much for dining or shopping”

“The town of Gold Beach pretty much goes dark for dining options in Tuesday and Wednesday so our fare was the local grocery store deli. That said, the hotel was awesome. Breakfast was great. The room was so nice and the view of the sunset was second to none. The hotel staff catered to our needs for motorcycle parking and were wonderful. Highly recommend of others are looking for a property in the Gold Beach area. ”

“I was pleasantly surprised. The outside looks pretty funky but the room was very nicely re-done and very comfortable. Nice bathroom and bathtub/shower combo, huge TV, new flooring and paint. Only downside is terrible little coffee maker and no microwave”

“Wow old tired building but the management team here does a phenomenal job. Price is very reasonable showers are hot, TVs are new, large and many channels. The bed is comfortable the linens and towels are great and the room is cleaned to the best that an old hotel can be. Fridge is cold. This part is even better than the Fairmont, you walk out your door and there is a coffee shop in the parking lot and you are back in your room in 2 minutes with a hot coffee. Even the hedges are all trimmed. ……

“Check in was quick and easy. Person was friendly and engaging. Room was newly renovated and well done. Room was large and had a great view over the Old Town. Restaurants and shops were a 2 minute walk. ”

“I have stayed here a few different times and the staff is always friendly. They have adequate parking for my truck and trailer which is hard to find at most other places. ”
