"Loved the view from the room and the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was nice and dinners I had there were good. Room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and it was a 5 minute drive to historic Charleston. The hotel also offered hourly drop offs and pick ups in the center of the historic district. Only negative was that there was only one elevator working the entire week i was there. At busy times you could have a wait and sometimes have to wait for it to come back...

" The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the front desk staff were super friendly. It’s located right across the street from the river so you can walk over and enjoy the view from the pier or a park bench. Lastly, the restaurant inside the hotel was top notch and the food was delicious."

"The beach was being renovated which was not the action of the hotel and is needed but made the stay noisy. Areas of the hotel need updating -elevators especially. "

"We enjoyed our room and stay at the Moxie. The room was of modest size bathroom, and spacious the bed comfortable. There were lots of wall hangers and not much in the way of furniture. It made the room more spacious. The staff at their service, it was all good. We are anticipating returning. "

"Nice and quiet. You could see damage from people partying and it wasn’t fixed well. Parking was bad. Had to park every night in handicap parking because every other parking spot was taken. Staff okayed being able to park in handicap spots because there was three or four open. "

"I loved the spacious, clean, comfortable room, comfortable mattress, balcony with a river view and rocking chairs. It is a very short drive to historic Charleston - 10 minutes or so. The amenities list showed a microwave but our room did not have one. The decor throughout the hotel and especially in our room was very bland and plain. I would recommend it for anyone wanting a clean, comfortable hotel close to all Charleston has to offer."

"All the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, and the rooms were very quiet and clean. Easy to walk to lots of downtown attractions or get picked up by a car from this location!"

"Nice people and property. Beds are super comfortable. Bathroom got very wet every shower because of having only a half door. Water didn’t totally drain and stood in bottom. Needs more hooks on walls for hanging toiletry bags, etc. Very conveniently located."
