"This is one of the best hotels for those traveling to and from JFK Airport (and they provide an airport shuttle service to and from JFK also). The rooms are clean and comfy and they also have ADA compliant rooms. One minor drawback is that although they have a free breakfast in the mornings, they don’t have a proper restaurant - and has to hop over to the Marriott (which is in the same complex) but is right across from the Residence Inn - to have lunch / dinner at the Quimby. The latter is delish - but if you had inclement weather and had a disability it might not be easiest way to get food even though it is all within the same complex. "

"We stayed here as a couple for a 5 night break in NYC. We chose to stay here based on affordability, location to Manhatten and the website listing showing spacious rooms. We read a number of negative reviews about the hotel, largely down to the local neighbourhood. However, this did not cause us any problems or concerns at all, despite coming back very late. The hotel staff were excellent, particularly Christina and Edgar who were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were spacious and spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was was huge, and super comfy. The breakfast was always well stocked with what we wanted, fruit juices, coffee, hot breakfast, make your own waffles, bagels etc. The kitchen staff were also very helpful. Would we stay here again? Definitely. Would we recommend to friends and family? Definitely. "
