"The hotel has a wonderful appearance, as many of the original 1500s features are still visible. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is easily walkable to the old city and departure point for the river excursion boats. The buffet at first seemed pricey, but was worth it - good service, delicious food. I will stay there again on my next visit to Strasbourg."

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Regent Contades Strasbourg. The lady who checked us in was welcoming, professional and friendly. We were advised of our VIP rewards without even having to mention them. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, quiet and clean. Although there were renovations going on within the hotel we weren't inconvenienced once and there was no noise associated with them. The range of food for breakfast was lovely but our only disappointment was how crowded the dining room...

"Wonderful stay. Perfect spot if you want to be on the historic center of the city. My room did not have a balcony but many large windows the opened to let the sunshine and breezes in. Very large bathroom. Staff was warm and friendly and fluent in several languages; breakfast was very good. There is also a lovely and comfortable sitting area just off the lobby where you can relax and where they provide copies of top international newspapers each morning, including Le Monde and the New York...

"The hotel is good considering the price range and its relative proximity to the airport. However, there was an issue with the advertised shuttle service. Although the instructions for locating the shuttle pick-up point were clear and helpful, upon reaching "Parking Express," there were no signs indicating the transfer. The shuttle itself was a regular taxi with no distinguishing markers other than the typical taxi sign. I only discerned I was in the right place after overhearing a conversation...
