"I have loved the ACE Hotel for years. I’ve probably stayed there more than any other guest. I found out today it will no longer be the ACE. The Hyatt Group purchased the hotel. I read they would not alter the interior, just changing the name. Time will tell. I will say this.., the name Hyatt and the vibe the ACE has had over the years doesn’t mesh well with me. I’ve talked to several people and they are agree and are just as skeptical about the future of one of Nola famous places to stay. In fact, I’m collecting ACE Hotel labeled items. I will represent the ACE for life! Things change but my feelings will not. Good luck to the Hyatt!! "
