Family Winter Get Away
The cabin is clean and we had everything we needed. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The host has taken care to include everything one needs to have a comfortable stay. We did lose power once due to wind. The host has rechargeable lanterns at hand. The hot tub is a nice addition. There are three twin beds in the Disney room, one is a trundle. Check in and check out we’re simple. My son asked if we could visit again in the summer.

Want the owner to be advised when we arrived cover to hot tub was half off and coffee maker was filthy. There were all grinds in the water reserve. Overall place was nice.

A True Peace of Paradise
Three guys seeking access to Mt. Rainier NP. The location was perfect! Just a few miles from Nisqually entrance and easy access to Ashford restaurants and General Store for supplies. The cabin was fully furnished with all the items one could think of to make this BaseCamp a full service home away from home. The layout was spacious and all furniture providing comfort and relaxation. The hot water never gave out with long showers to wash away the aches and pains from long days of hiking. The hot tub was spacious and adequate for four big adults!! The kitchen had every thing a gourmet cook would need and all appliances appeared new and fully functioning The neighborhood was quiet and non-intrusive despite being across street from a swimming lake and picnic area for the local residents. The beds were comfortable and the cabin in late August was cool during the day and well ventilated at night with occasional use of provided fans in all bedrooms. We have stayed in many mountain resort location VRBOs and this cabin in a real winner. Five Stars and Top Flight from landing to takeoff!

This house was perfect for four female friends who live far apart from each other to cook together, visit, and hike. The space is well designed and the neighborhood very quiet.

Finals finale
To moms in for teenage boys enjoyed our stay after a grueling week of sophomore finals. The house is super cozy and nicely appointed beds are comfortable. The wood-burning stove really makes the house toasty. The kitchen is super cute and the furniture is nice and comfy. Would definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous and Quiet Getaway
This property was better than it reads - and we thought it read really well already. Very clean and easy check in/out process. No issues with the typical amenities. The whole house and neighborhood is very welcoming and relaxing. Our 1 year old enjoyed the nature walks (around the house and to the playground), dips in the fresh water, the fire pit, toys, and seeing deer come by in the morning. We traveled lightly so the crib, high chair and other kid-friendly amenities helped make that possible. We were there for a race as well so the hot tub was a perfect bonus to have.

Great cabin minutes from Mount Rainier
We loved the decor and layout of this rustic cabin. Other than the daybed/trundle, the beds were very comfortable (the daybed had a nice mattress on it, but needs more foundational support to avoid the hammock effect). The kitchen was well stocked with surprisingly nice cookware and a decent selection of spices left behind by other guests. We enjoyed the nice selection of games and movies to choose from (note: the internet is not good enough for streaming TV services) and the hot tub. The location is great - just minutes from the Nisqually/Longmire/Paradise entrance to Mount Rainier and across from a nice lake and neighborhood park. We had a couple of small issues during our stay, but nothing that would prevent us from returning.

Beware to rent in Winter
We had a terrible experience upon arrival. We couldn't get inside as the lock was not working (the batteries died). We had to drive to get a signal to call the host. When we finally entered, the house was freezing cold with all the pipes also frozen, no water was running from the faucets. Even toilets had ice in the bowl. We spent a few hours warming everything up and luckily we got the water running. That was not what we wanted to deal with on Christmas weekend. Other than that the house was very clean and cozy. The hot tub was the great addition too.

Great Mt. Rainier House
Great house with a cabin feel, minutes from park entrance and Longmire/Paradise. We hiked during the day from here and it was very easy. Small grocery stores within a few minutes. Not much going on in the area, but if you're visiting the park and want a cozy place to stay, this is a great option. We ate in except a lunch at the Copper Creek - which was excellant.

A Week's Stay
We really liked this property, back deck private with lots of trees and bushes, table and chairs to sit and relax, a BBQ'r and a hot tub. The pond was a joy to walk around and see the mini waterfalls, ducks and geese. The inside of the cabin is so peaceful and had everything we needed for our 8 day stay. We especially were thankful for the LED lights that you carry around to see when the power went out one night two days before we left.

This cabin was perfect for my family. It was very clean and well equipped for cooking meals. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the towels were fluffy. The hot tub and fire pit were great gathering places for wine and laughter after a day of hiking in Mt. Rainier NP. The property manager responded promptly to our request for assistance. Lovely Cabin.
We enjoyed our stay at Peace of Paradise. The kitchen is well-stocked & the furniture comfortable. The cabin has charming decorations. The location is extremely convent to the Nisqually entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. With Stevens Canyon Road being closed during the week, it is about 45 minutes to the Ohanapecosh entrance. Although it might usually not be needed, the cabin is not air conditioned, and we happened to stay during a heat advisory. An additional fan in the 3 bed bedroom & one for the downstairs bedroom would have been nice.

Great cabin in a great location
This cabin had everything we could want. We brought our two-year-old and five-year-old and had a great time. The lake and playground are right across the street. There was a high chair and pack n play. The kitchen was easy to cook in and I am envious of the sink. When we needed propane for the BBQ, the cohost, Kathy, responded quickly and brought one over. The hot tub was great. It was a bit hot in the upstairs but there were fans. I knew it would be warm since it was August. Overall, it's a great property and I can't wait to stay here again!
