"The hotel is cross the road from the airport. There is a shuttle outside the door but one can walk if they wish. We had a lovely meal of fish and chips in the bar. The service if waiting for someone to come to the table is very slow. It is much faster to order using the QR code. It’s about 25 minutes drive north from Dublin airport so suited us an our last night before an early morning flight. We had dinner in the bar area. It’s recently been done up. "We enjoyed immensely our stay at the Sandymount Hotel which is a wonderful family run hotel near the picturesque village of Ballinbridge which has an array of restaurants, artisan bakery, a couple of bars and a village green. Sandymount is situated within a quiet leafy suburb. The rooms are very clean with all the facilities you need. One caveat would be that the rooms are quite warm in temperature. Too warm. The staff are all polite, friendly and respectful at all times. Lovely bar & beautiful breakfast buffet available to guests & seating at the front & rear of the hotels. "
