"Staff at RIU is amazing, they provide excellent service. Location is great with beautiful beach 🏝️. Property is well maintained. Food is great. Spa and wellness, very good. The only thing where I would like to see some improvements are rooms that can use some updates, bed mattresses are slightly too firm for my preference. Overall I would recommend this property to my friends and family."

"After a long review process of many resorts, we were very satisfied with our pick of this resort. The staff is amazing, the dining options are many. The entertainment was lively and the property is clean. It amazes me the attention to detail each staff display for a safe, relaxing 5 star experience. Para los restaurantes que no habia espacio el mayordomo Jobrailyn Cedeño nos ayudo a conseguir reservacion en todos y siempre estaba pendiente de nuestras necesidades. La comida fue muy buena, para el buffet recomiendo ir a la hora de apertura porque si no despues hay mucho revulú en el buffet. El entretenimiento muy bueno pero deberian incluir mas actividades y musica hispana/latina. En la piscina premium Juan es el mejor bartender. "

"The staff was wonderful - they were courteous, helpful and efficient. However the property itself needs a good renovation. The staff do the the best they can with what they have to work with but the proprietors should clean up their act. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired - I cannot comment much on lunch and dinner, as I had only one dinner which was not very appetizing. The "private beach" advertised is a joke - there is no bar, no washrooms - just a few (8 or 10) worn out...

"I went 30 miles with my taxi do you find it a dirty, incompetent hotel staff. The woman was sitting at a desk and informed me first of all that I would have to pay cash. I went to the ATM machine across from her desk but it was not functional. Then I asked for the hotel to reimburse my driver because I had paid for the specific room that the hotel on your website, Hotels.com, said would include a free airport shuttle. This property is very nice but staying here leaves a little something to be desired. Getting around the resort is a challenge, even with the shuttles, as the property is so spread out. The beach is beautiful and the pools are great too. Service was as expected. I had a couple of hiccups with luggage so that was a bit inconvenient. Overall a good stay but to enjoy the entire property is a challenge.
