"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Going in we knew the bathrooms were separate from the rooms so that was expected. I did not expect the cleanliness of them! "Overall this is a decent little hotel. There's coffee in the lobby in the morning and an iHop next door. There's also a coffee maker in the room as well as a fridge. No microwave unfortunately. "Fantastic breakfast with lots of different types of yummy pastries. We stayed two nights, went to Yosemite for a night, then returned for another night at Grant Hotel. The staff were happy to hold our luggage for us (chained to a post in the reception area) while we were at Yosemite which was very handy, and it was also just a 5 minute walk to our tour bus departure point. The rooms were lovely and location was good."

"It is SF and this place is good for the money. Most of SF is a little run down on the outside, but the inside is nice. They redid it and did a good job. Some areas could be renewed like the air con. But I honestly have no real complaints about the inside. Outside there was a fire a block away so fire engines. But not the hotels fault. I would come again."
