Welcome to Shay Meadows Ranch & Resort!! Our historic dude ranch estate sits atop spacious woodland meadows with vast mountain views and a spacious manicured property boasting a gorgeous pond and gazebo, a truly wonderful space to spend your next family reunion, corporate retreat, or large group of friends for a most memorable trip to Big Bear. When renting the entire complex you will have access to all three cabins, The Bell Tower, The Suite, and The Ranch House, a total of 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, comfortably hosting 34 people with each unit boasting a cozy living room, kitchen with cookware and appliances, and comfortable sleeping quarters, all are made up for your group with warm linens and fresh towels.

**You will have no other renters on the property when you book the entire Lodge.

Family gathering
I booked this property to hold a celebration of life gathering of extended family in honor of my father. The group included the 6 children in my family, with 4 spouses, 8 grandchildren with 6 spouses, and 11 great grandchildren. The facility was perfect for all. The grounds are exquisite. They call to you to be outside and are well equipped with tables, chairs, gas fire pits, and gas grills. The great grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed exploring the beautiful pond and seeing the wild burros. Many enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks. The facilities accommodated all 34 members of the extended family very comfortably. The owner was available and helpful, but took care not to be intruding. This was the perfect spot for our gathering. Both my parents would have loved the facility and would have loved to be part of the gathering.

Amazing Property!
A group of friends and I rented out this property for a birthday and I have nothing but good things to say! The cabins were in great condition with all the amenities you could want. The property itself is huge and all the outside lighting at night really makes it look magical. And above all the property owner was fantastic to work with. Great communication, always willing to help if we needed anything, and super friendly! We will definitely come back!

This Ranch Resort was perfect for a large group and kid friendly. You have so much open space you don’t even need to leave the property. We would definitely come back and would recommend.
