I’ve stayed here multiple times and have always been happy with my stay. This time around was a little different. I booked a king room as I usually do, our beds pillows were not full size pillows more like couch sized. I went to the desk and they kindly gave me two more but i didn’t understand why a king would be like that. Also, our bed didn’t have a proper comforter on it just a thin cover. We didn’t realize this until later into the night or I would’ve requested a change. The Air conditioner seemed to be having problems cooling the room until the middle of the night when we woke up freezing because of the lack of blanket. The smoke detector had a flashing white led that randomly pulsed throughout the night bright enough to illuminate that area of the room. Finally the shower was a pain to operate, I burned my feet trying to adjust the temperature as it was so touchy, even the coldest setting was warm.

Like staying at the Doubletree, one thing I don't like is the $50 per night they charge me for a deposit, I am a long standing Hilton Honors member, I've been to many locations, never destroyed or taken anything that doesn't belong to me, and they still don't trust me. I think charging me a deposit is totally unnecessary.

There was some kind of bad smell in the room which was not going away for any reason. The bathroom curtains were very old and smelly too. And floor was dirty, and did not vacuum well. Otherwise everything else was okay.
