Loudest Vrbo I have ever stayed in
This advertised as a quick 10 minute walk to downtown. It was more like 15 to 20 minute walk. The property owners live upstairs to this property and have at least one small child. We wanted to take naps and read books in the afternoon and it was so incredibly loud with a child banging and running the whole entire day and adults yelling upstairs. I took some videos of how incredibly loud it was. If you are out and about in Salem all day, this property would probably work for you. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax this is not it.

Fun Halloween!
My friend and I stayed here for Halloween. It was so nice being able to walk home as the crowds of people where lining up to try and catch the train or an Uber. Our host communicated well and the place was nice and comfortable.

Close, clean, comfortable
The house really was a quick walking distance from the train station and was easy to retreat to when we needed a clean bathroom or just a little while to recoup. The bed was comfortable and it was a nice small space for a few friends to laugh and enjoys each others company. We can from separate parts of the country to spend a week together in Salem and this little apartment was a nice home for us during our visit. Thank you!

Absolutely Wonderful!
This is the way to go to see the sights of Salem! We had a great stay here. The host was wonderful. We only had one problem and he took care of it right away. Very responsive and easy to get a hold of. Our car never moved the entire time because everything we wanted to see was walking distance away. We would highly remmoned this place to anyone. Thank you!

Had a great stay here. Had an issue with the VRBO app, but the hosts were helpful in getting it resolved. The rental is spacious and would be great for a family but was also great for me and my fiancee. Has everything you need. Great location near downtown Salem.

Such a cute apartment in a neighborhood very close to our Salem sights. Very clean and comfortable. An older home with its charm but with updates for comfort and convenience. We walked around the area, so many quaint homes and nice water view just down the block. Didn’t even know the owners were home upstairs, very private stay. Thank you for sharing your place with us

Family Vacation
Nice apartment close to downtown Salem. Wonderful welcome package and great selection of Keurig coffee cups provided by host. Gas station/convenience store only a block away. We used the apartment as a base and drove to center of downtown parking in the garage next to the National park visitor center. Very convenient. We were able to park right in front of the aprtment on the street with the resident parking pass provided by the owner.

We had a wonderful first time visit to Salem and Elton and his rental property were great. Elton was very helpful and a great communicator. His property was exactly as advertised and very close to downtown Salem. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend his property.

Quaint Apartment
Really lovely little apartment with decent space for a group of four and only a 10 minute walk from the main highlights of downtown Salem. Ideal location and a nice way to relax in a full space vs a hotel room. Everyone had their own space and a nice kitchen to eat dinner in toghetr. Easy and open communication with owner was available!

Great Experience!
The home was so cute and was perfect for our trip to tour Salem! As soon as we walked in, we all commented on how clean it was. The host provided plenty of extra linens, pillows and towels - which also smelled fresh & clean. There was a Keurig coffee & tea bar set-up as well as individual condiments which was perfect so we could snack on all the leftovers we managed to accumulate from dining out! haha My favorite area was the outdoor space & patio. When we arrived we were able to relax outside with a glass of wine and the owner actually picked us fresh cucumbers & tomatoes from their garden, which were delicious! I would definitely recommend it was the perfect space for our family of 4's last minute vacation!
