“Our stay at the A-Frame was fantastic! Everything was as the listing stated and more. We ended up using more than we planned - cooking most meals there, using the grill and fire pit, while enjoying the creature comforts of the AC. With stainless appliances, two full baths and extra cleanliness, this was far from most cabin experiences I have had. The kids and adults-alike loved the layout, especially the loft. The written guide with suggestions was very helpful in understanding the immediate……

“My family had a great time at this property. Unfortunately we weren’t able to kayak since the army dams the lake in the winter. While this was unexpected, we made the most of it and walked the dry lake bed quite far and my family was able to find some fishing spots. The cabin was clean and had what we needed. The back deck was a great place to read my book and kids liked the bonfire in the evening. We would stay here again but make sure the lake is there!”

“The layout is nice, the view is wonderful. The noise level from highway is loud at times. The windows do not all have screens and some of them have openings that let in bugs. The kitchen is not well equipped with items, such as sharp knives, coffee, baking pans, or serving dishes. The pillows are terrible and the blankets are cheap.”

“My boys and I were looking for a nice place to go and get away from memorial weekend. The house is located close to the lake. We were able to rent a boat and have a nice day on the lake Saturday and then come back to a relaxing house for the rest of the weekend. We dealt with several severe storms. The owner was kind enough to reach out to us while we were on the lake to let us know that we were out of power, and that it should be back on soon.”

“Cute little off the path cabin. Close to the lake. Has all of the house supplies you would ever forget. Just don’t forget your firewood, s’mores, and tick spray!”

“The place was great! Super cozy and even tho it was small it had plenty of space to move around and do everything we needed to. Very clean and the jacuzzi was as well. I wish the couch had been a pull out but the loft bed was interesting. Defiantly for those young at heart.”

“The house, deck, porch and property were wonderful and tastefully decorated and landscaped. It was so relaxing and had everything we needed down to comfy pillows and top quality bedding. It is quite a climb to go fishing but managable. There were 3 couples, we felt right at home and had a WONDERFUL time. We made great memories with great friends!!”

“We had an outstanding time at lake barren and our stay at the cabin was incredible. The photos don’t do justice for what the cabin really looks like. We will use this cabin again when we come back to lake barren. Very clean and has lots of amenities.”

“Great family retreat. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The listing was very accurate and well described. We were close enough to Mammoth Cave to partake in a day of hiking, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of relaxation. “A group of friends stayed here because we had a fishing tournament on Barren River over the weekend. We enjoy this location because there is plenty of space for our boats and there is a lot of peace and quiet. The place is very nice and offers a great place to relax. Plenty of sleeping options and plenty of options to hang out.”

“A great place to stay for the weekend. We loved feeding the animals next to the cabin and kayaking. We loved the dogs visiting (Lola, Charlie, and Bo). Everything you could need to cook was available. We made use of the fire pit in the back and made our dinner over it using the grill.”

“My husband and I planned a stay with our girls and both our dads to make some memories. We found this amazing cabin and booked right away. It was even nicer in person than described. Only about 30 minutes from mammoth cave. They had plenty to do in the cabin when it rained and we all got to enjoy the hot tub post our hikes. We enjoyed competing on the shuffleboard table as well! If you are staying in the area, choose this house, you will not be disappointed.”

“I brought my daughter for a fun, long weekend in Nashville for her birthday. Wanted a home base away from the downtown hype. This cabin was a great choice. Charming property with rustic feel. The roosters will crow early,but I am an early riser and didn’t mind 😊. My daughter loved the extra touches added to the cabin to celebrate her birthday. Very happy with my choice with this cabin and we would recommend to others visiting the area.. Thank you for a memorable trip!”

“We had a little trouble during the check in process. I had to reach out to him for the code twice. I never received an email with the passcode. We also were scheduled improperly between the site and the owner. However, the property was clean and nice. We loved the back deck area. It was nice to sit out there and enjoy the weather. The backyard gives you a camping vibe.”

“We were coming to town for a wedding and this house was ideally suited for our family. It was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the gazebo out back was a great spot to enjoy the evening looking out over the pond, but the best part was all of the motorized recliners that begged for a nap... so comfortable!”
