The food sucked, from the buffet to the restaurants, it all tasted the same. Its a boring resort, not much for activites or shows. Premier uograde is not worth it at all. That side of the resort is smaller and boring as well. Nothing extra special for the upgrade. The restaura t for the premier upgrade has all the sale foods as the other restaurants. Mybest meal there was room service for a burger, which tasted like school lunch.

I stayed at Dream Sands and the whole resort was absolutely phenomenal. The interior of the resort was stunning and I loved the private beach. The staff were really welcoming. The only concern I would say is the food is alright it wasn’t the best food but it was okay for being all inclusive. Other than that, I truly enjoyed my experience at this resort I loved the entertainment they had at night. I had the best time!

We loved our stay! Spent 11 days here for our honeymoon. The beach was excellent, the staff was amazing and we loved the food, especially the Mexican restaurant El Patio at the resort. Special thank you to Victor our waiter who made our evenings so special with his incredible service! There’s a lot to do at the resort- almost hourly activities. Our favorites were beach volleyball and the Spanish lessons every morning. Thank you to Manuel for all of the lessons and the fun activities! While in Cancun, check out Rio Secreto, amazing experience!

It's not a bad resort, but don't get hungry there around 5:00pm. Employees are somewhat confused about what restaurants are open around that time and how you have to be dressed for that restaurant. It turns out that Olio restaurant is the only one open around that time and chances are they would be almost out of food. Plus hostesses and waiters there would be in no rush to give you that hotdog. It could take you around 30 minutes to get it.

Food very limited, we at lunch , they have grilled shrimp, I ask them twice but they said just 2 shrimp per person ( shrimp size just like my finger, not big) I not eat meat and shrimp just 2 pieces, and the way he talked too mean to me, hurt my feelings and they didn’t have fruit, first time I know one resort like this, swimming pool floor missing ceramic it cut my feet so bad

Surprised by the high reviews. Stay somewhere else. We arrived an hour and a half before check in. While staying at other resorts we've always been able to check in upon arrival. We were told we had to wait. They tried to upsell us there preferred membership which offered snacks in the room, robes, private beach area with their own butler, access to a restaurant for breakfast for a fee of $150 per day. We declined. Upon declining another representative tried to sell us $200 in leisure cash in exchange for us to visit another one of their resorts. I can only imagine that once at this nearby resort we would have been sold something else (timeshare, membership etc). We declined. All this was a sour first impression, it was stressful after traveling all day. Food was lackluster, no flavor, small portions (example I ordered ravioli at the Italian restaurant and counted 4 raviolis on my plate) , long wait time to be served even a beverage, they often forgot sides I ordered and they never arrived. We had an ocean view room, the room was a good size except they have no drawers and you had 7 hangers to put your clothes on. When we arrived it was 25°C. I decreased the air the lowest it could go (10°C) and during our entire stay the coldest it got was 22° C. We wanted some ice for our room - we went searching for the dispenser and were advised we had to order ice. So we did, waited 20 minutes for it. Beach/ocean is very nice, calm water. Would not stay here again.
