I made sure to call prior and request both rooms reserved to be on the same floor and they let me know that it would be possible. When we arrived for check in they did not have them on the same floor and we had to wait until 8pm for the other room to be ready! Ridiculous service was told 20min more at least 4 different times and we had arrived since 4pm

The resort was clean. The food was pretty good considering that it was an all-inclusive property. The check-in process was the worst. There was no system. I stood behind some people that were standing in the middle of the lobby and asked if this was the check in line. I stood there for over 40 minutes before I walked over to an employee to ask how much longer I would have to stand in line to check in. She asked me for my name and told me to have a seat in the lobby and she will call me when it was my turn. After 20 minutes and a drink, my wife just walked up to one of the registration desks and sat down to get checked in. This disorganization continued in the buffet. There was no direction on where to line up for the omelette and grilled meat station. Guests would just walk up on either side of the cook and place their order instead of lining up.

We loved the place. We brought a 3 yr old with us. Family friendly. The staffs are very friendly and professional. We chose this place more for the kid than for the food. Supervisor Alexandro in the bellboy team was exceptional. He helped us called the transportation pick-up when they were behind the schedule. I wish the management could help us exchange large bills into $5 and $10 bills, so we can tip the staffs more often for their exceptional customer service.

The resort was very nice and clean. The staff was a lot of fun and engaged with the guests for activities. There was a daily schedule of activities by the pool every hour. So always something to do. The service staff was friendly and food was good. Overall a good place to spend a vacation.

I am rating this property as average. Our first night there we could not make a reservation for any of the restaurants. It took forever for our rooms to be ready. Then the buffet food was not the greatest but we were starving. The all inclusive alcohol was horrible. We finally had to request certain liquor in order to actually feel something after drinking all day. I never drink but this was for my daughter birthday. This was supposed to be extra special. The service was mediocre. It seemed like there wasn’t enough wait staff around the pools. I was recently in Cancun at the Valentin and there is a night and day difference. I know Valentin is adult only but we came with family to Mar Caribe and expected the same great food, service and alcohol. There were two restaurants that were very good Flama and the Japanese restaurant. The view from our room, by the jacuzzis and beach was beautiful.
