I arrived late, was walked to the hut (I guess that’s what you’d call it), and I admit I was skeptical of how well I’d be able to sleep with no walls to keep the bugs out. No bugs bothered me at all. In Texas you’d have thousands of mosquitoes, and flying insects but here, none. The singing of the tree frogs in the forest put me to sleep and I slept better than I have in at least a year. "This was a very disappointing rental. Although the villa was very nice and we expected to enjoy our stay. However, the yard surrounding the villa was infested with ticks. Each of us had ticks on our feet, legs and clothing. We have a small dog who must have had several dozens ticks just by walking for a few minutes in the surrounding yard in the immediate viscinity of the villa. We didn't even need to go in the tall grass and we came back with ticks. It took us several hours over the next week...
