Cottage in the Great Smoky Mountains With Spectacular Views & Farmhouse Decor
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (43)
"This place is amazingly beautiful and the host has thought of everything you will need for your relaxing stay! She even has a complete welcome book with tons of suggestions and local information. While the yard is shared with the host's own home, it still felt very private and relaxing. The location is great and easy to access many small towns and hiking spots. There is tons of shopping, great food, and nature spots to enjoy. The only caution I would give is that many of the smaller towns are...

Luxurious Mountain Retreat for the Discerning Traveler
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (197)
"Everything lived up to the description. Kitchen very well stocked with pans, cutlery and dishes. I appreciated some options for storage since those are often lacking in rental properties. I also appreciated the shampoo etc in the bathrooms. The best part is the deck and creek. I really appreciated that the porch is gated at both ends so I didn’t have to worry about my dog running off. That gave him some freedom and me peace of mind. Everything worked fine but I would recommend adding...

Smoky Mountain Dreams Luxury Log Home w/ views, creek, trail, kids play area
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (112)
"We really enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the backyard area. The firepit was probably our favorite spot at the house. The owner was easy to get in contact with and responded promptly to a couple questions we had. Make sure you write down the door code before you get to the house. We didn’t and one of us had to drive down until we had phone service so we could pull up VRBO and access our reservation."

"Very clean inside and outside! The description of the cabin is exactly as you read in the ad! The neighbor in the same duplex was very nice and inviting. Very quiet! The beds were VERY comfortable and I can be very picky when it comes to that! We had 1 small incident, but was solved VERY QUICKLY, even at almost 11pm. We couldnt find a sheet or blanket for the pull out couch, but like I said, with no hesitation leslie's either property manager or cleaner ( not sure who actually came out ) she was...

Luxury Waterfall Lodge & Guest House with Firepit, Hiking Trails, WiFi, Creek
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (62)
"Stayed in home for a four day weekend just to get away. Like others have said there is no cell service at cabin with either Verizon or AT&T but you can turn WiFi calling on your phone and still make and receive phone calls and text messages. We loved having the creek right outside the door. My lab played in it every day. Overall cleanliness was good. Did have a couple of issues that addressed with the owner and she responded immediately. Couldn’t figure out the thermostat during stay so was a...

Historic Tapoco Lodge
3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (409)
"The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "
