"Good hotel, fantastic bar and restaurant. Our ground floor guest house across the street from the main building had great historical charm, but was a bit dingy and in serious need of improvements and maintenance. The location was ideal, close to many attractions and the river walk. "

"Lovely property, in a beautiful square with walking distance of Riverside & East Bay St. Valet parking is available & very convenient if a little pricy (although we never checked the cost for parking in the next door multi storey car park) We had a bag of laundry done for $20 on a same day service. Convenient restaurant for breakfast just around the corner. Would definitely recommend. "

"Overall we had a great stay. We were disappointed that the pool was closed for work but there were no signs and no notice from the hotel. Our grandson was telling all of the staff in the lobby that he was excited to go to the pool. They all agreed how much fun it would be but no one bothered to say the pool was closed. We found out when we walked out on the roof and saw workers and no water. "

"I slept very good after a long day traveling. The bed and sheets were just right. The water turned hot very fast so I was able to take a much needed shower to relax when I got to the room and just relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Heather. She made me feel right at home. I will definitely be staying here again. "
