"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

"We were met by the owner who showed us around the property and was very helpful and friendly about the property but also the area and places to visit. We all had a great 6 days there and saw some really good sites. Thoroughly recomend thie house and the area."

"Easy walk to local sites, shops and restaurants. The apartment was quaint and located in a historic house. Stephanie was very helpful and attentive. We tried 4 of her 5 restaurant recommendations. Each one was an excellent dining experience. We had an excellent 8 day stay. The steep stairs would prevent this being a good selection for people with mobility issues. Clean and welcoming."

"The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. They have some English which was a big plus. The location was ideal. 12 minute walk to Colmar tourist bureau and to the old village. Easy access to major routes to head to the many quaint Alsacien villages. Private parking was a bonus. I highly recommend this home."

"We enjoyed our 2-week stay at this modern, spacious and clean 2-bedroom apartment with plenty of light, modern appliances, comfortable beds, large double-sink bathroom, large terraze and overall well appointed furnishings. The owner was very attentive and made every effort for us to have a comfortable stay. "The property was much better than expected. The facilities, location and charm made this a truly memorable stay. Lucie went out of her way to help us since there were some road closures due to the Christmas Markets. She answered all our questions, gave a quick tour of the property and offered suggestions on the local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!!"

"The location is very good to be close to city center and a short walk to the train station. The room was clean however the jacuzzi tub leaked and the washing machine, a major plus we thought, did not tumble. We have to hang dry our clothes for 2 days before we could repack them. Communication was fair. The property did not live up to the pictures."

"Fantastique! Margot was the most welcoming and wonderful person you could ask to greet you after a long day of travel. Very comfy beds, great shower pressure, super cool decor. Tons of fun Statue of Liberty notes. Decent gym. Make sure you speak to the person working the spa before you go to the pool, they have some nuances to the experience that were different than I was used to. Highly recommend, hope I have an excuse to come back to Colmar and stay here again and especially try the restaurant JY’s! "
