"Lovely little B&B with a warm and friendly, artsy vibe. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Water heat/pressure was sometimes hit or miss (not a real issue, but just to level set expectations) and there was no A/C (as expedia said there would be)--but it's way up in the mountains and open windows cooled things fine! We loved the staff, the tasty breakfast, the beautiful bottles embedded in the walls spreading color everywhere, and the amazing patio! PLENTY nearby in terms of food, including a Soda...

"We enjoyed staying at the Mar Inn. Christine at the front desk showed us the map of the city and guided us to a couple of very good restaurants. Breakfast was very good as well. Close to the cloud forest and a Sloth sanctuary. Tip, park at the parking lot that says Offical Parking & take the shuttle, there is really no parking at the park entrance. "

"If I could, I would have stayed longer in this establishment. The pictures and description does not do justice to this amazing place. The rooms are old but in reasonable state, and they are clean. The breakfast is good and with a perfect view over the garden. The garden is the best thing about the place. "Very beautiful property, very comfortable beds. it is a bit out of the way so you either have to drive to access food and shopping, or are you have to be willing to walk a lot! Although it was called a B&B on the website, there was no breakfast included. That was surprising and disappointing That is my only criticism. Otherwise, it was lovely."

"Mountain Faro is a simple, clean, and well-located property, with a good breakfast included. Yes it is up a hill, but you are in Monte Verde and everything is up or down a hill. The staff, led by Lady, are lovely, welcoming, and so helpful - including recommending restaurants, helping to arrange tours, and arranging transport as needed (for tours, or if you just don't want to walk the hills). I highly recommend it."
