Fabulous Chateau Experience
Amazing chateau in the country, quiet and dignified with the best chef in France. Never have I felt so much like it was like 300 years ago to be a guest in a real chateau. Be sure to have dinner in the restaurant..!!

Chateau hotel in the Loire
Couldn’t fault our stay in sept tours. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was excellent and the room was a delight. The hotel has all the character and charm that you would expect from a chateau. The free concert from a chamber ensemble in the Friday evening was also excellent and an unexpected bonus.

Awesome Stay in a Real Old Chateau
Our room was actually within one of the seven towers of this old Chateau; circular with classic bed canopy overlooking the lovely golf course. Far from any town. Nice for a quiet getaway.

Golf course Good greens but fairways not great
This was a revisit after a number of years. The hotel and facilities, dinner and breakfast, most enjoyable. Room spacious , comfortable in quiet surroundings. Only disappointment was the condition of the golf course.

Few centuries back
This is truly a marvelous castle. Of course, you do not expect air conditioning and have to play with the window shadings. It has a charm and atmosphere and that is what counts in such type of a hotel. Dine in the hotel restaurant and do not look for anything else. The chef is a genius, the lady-waiter helps with the wine choice. If you do not have enough, play golf. It is an easy course, but in beautiful countryside. Nothing to really complain.

Beautiful grounds and setting
Overall, our experience was very good. The outside and setting of the Chateau is beautiful. It was a wonderful experience staying in the old Chateau building. The rooms/carpets are a little worn but still very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal which was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly. The only disappointment was that the rooms do not have air conditioning, however, a fan was provided in the room. Fortunately, the evenings were cooler and the fan helped keep the room temperature at a comfortable level but the windows do not have screens so, we kept the lights off as much as possible to prevent attracting bugs. We were also disappointed that the pool closed so early (6 pm). Overall though, it was a wonderful experience.

Beautiful location and initial impression
Looked impressive but go a little deeper and see the need for attention to detail. The parking was away from the hotel with no disabled parking space. the fact that I had a flat tyre within minutes of leaving indicated the surface of the car park was not good for cars - pebbly. stoney etc. Pathways around the hotel need cleaning up if the beautiful chateau image is to be maintained. Rooms adequate but not brilliant - no shutting out of light or even curtain at the bathroom window. Food very good but expensive. Pool and outside sunbathing excellent Internet reception poor

Everything was excellent except there was no mobile signal and the free wifi offered by the hotel was unreliable and mostly absent. Perfect for a run away but if you need contact with the tech world you can forget about it.

A Loire Chateau at its best!
A two day stopover in the Loire region and so glad we did! Excellent location and a beautiful chateau. The children loved the whole experience from the rooms in the turret to the superb pool. Food was excellent as was the service. The golf course was huge and had one of the longest par 5's I've ever played!! If travelling across France then this hotel should be on the "must stay" list.

My wife and me were in les sept tours for 6 days, as an operational base to visit the "chateaux" nearby in the Loire valley. This way, to be back to a chateau after visiting others is a must. It has plenty parking space and a beautiful view of the golf course and surrounding forest. We had only one dinner and one breakfast because the prices were not low. The dinner quality was very good. The breakfast normal. It is a castle, so the access to the rooms is through helicoidal stairs. No lifts. A very good place to a trip to Loire by car.

Great for golfers, not much for everyone else
We got a room here through a deal, it's a beautiful old chateau set in manicured grounds. However, this place is seriously pricey - I could not recommend going unless you got a discount. Our room was nice and had everything that you'd expect from any modern establishment, phone, wifi, coffee/tea making facilities, en suite with the thickest fluffiest bathrobes I've ever seen, but, somehow the overall impression was not of luxury. Perhaps this was because the room needed a little tlc, the carpets were a little worn, the room safe was not secured to anything and the paintwork needed touching up. The hotel restaurant was great, serving really good food and had a large selection of wines. The pool was nice and the area is very peaceful.

Beautiful old chateau
We booked the day before. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was midweek and not busy so we were upgraded. The rooms were big and bathrooms had all amenities. It was an unexpected surprise.

Beautiful Chateau
Beautiful Chateau in the countryside. Large, tastefully decorated rooms. Car needed to get around. Great for golfers. Nice heated pool. Bikes available in nearby town but no paths (if traveling with kids). Ballooning available in area but very expensive. Casual dining at Chateau very good. Great meals available in nearby towns. Chateau should add spa and other recreation for non-golfers (tennis, billards, etc.). Should have stayed longer as very relaxing place. Would definitely return.

Lovely hotel, disappointing stay
This was booked as the highlight of a week in the Loire Valley and in the end it was a disappointing stay. The building and location are great. Good news and bad news on check in. As there were virtually no other guests, we had been upgraded to the main building from the coach house. As it was a Monday in Winter (nearly May!) the main restaurant was closed. The brasserie was however open. I had expected an eye-wateringly expensive but memorable meal in a special setting and got an adequate, expensive meal in a golf club bar.The room was very good with views over the golf course in two directions and a superb bathroom. It was great to see an espresso machine, shame that it required a trip down to reception to get some coffeee capsules at 2 euros a time. Sleep in the very comfortable bed was badly disturbed by a very loud generator that after some protests was eventually turned off. We skipped the 18 euros a head breakfast and departed feeling just a little let down. I would certainly give this place another go and would have to attribute at least half my disappointment to circumstances.
