"I have no idea how this place has such high ratings. Although initially the check in clerk was kind and somewhat helpful, my stay at this hostel was disgustingly bad. I opted for a private room which was actually not even close to what the misleading ad boasted. It was very hot with no thermostat to adjust the temperature and it was also very dirty. "We have been to this property before.We enjoyed ourselves.The only negative is that the owner wasn’t aware that the dish tv wasn’t working so we weren’t able to watch the local channels.He did come out to see what the issue was but we were able to watch Netflix .I would recommend this property and return when available"

"Once again we had great time! Love the cabin and the river sound. Sitting on the porch in a rocker or on the swing Is so soothing and peaceful. Getting in the hot tub and seeing the river and the trees and then the night sky is heaven made. The kitchen had every dish, pots and pans we needed. Cabin is so clean Angela does a great job. The communication with the owner Julie is quick to respond if needed. We love it and can’t wait to return."
