“My husband and I stayed there as we moved our son out of his college dorm. The hotel was not that far from his college and by a plaza that had everything. The room was decent and clean, as was the bathroom. The lobby of the hotel was clean, and the Starbucks cafe downstairs was nice for a quick breakfast grab. The snack section next to the reception desk was our go-to at night. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“The hotel itself is very clean and in a great walkable area. Close to a number of good restaurants and great bars. Even a few secret spots if you know who to ask. The only problem I had was with the front desk announcing my room number in the lobby. That should NEVER be done for safety reasons, especially as a sometimes solo traveler. Please address this with the staff. If you have written it down on the key card it doesn't need to be said out loud.”

“The room was clean, quiet as long as you keep the window closed (very good sound insulation from other rooms, but traffic noise from nearby road if you open the sliding porch window), king size bed very comfy, and a desk with two chairs big enough for two people each with their own laptops. The pool is very old however, strange-looking water and was smelling weird (neither chlorine nor salt water smell). If you choose the hotel for a clean and comfy room that's ok. Don't choose it for the pool. ”

“Traveling to visit Salem was made easy by staying here at this hotel. My fiancé and I enjoyed our one week stay and we both loved the breakfast variety that they had to offer. The little omelettes with the bell peppers and the waffles were my absolute favorite. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I did have a pricing issue because of a check in error, but it was fixed and I was refunded the excess amount fairly quickly. Other than that, visiting Massachusetts was absolutely amazing and very……

“Hampton Beach is a fun and unique area. This is a fun and unique hotel. Don’t judge this book by its cover. Rooms are fully renovated, everyone is friendly, parking is easy, no hassles and an easy walk to the beach. We’ve stayed here multiple times and will be back again.”

“Old school New England motel with beautiful views of the the Essex River and Great Salt Marsh. The staff is very friendly and the rooms and grounds are clean. We've book a weekend there every May and intend to continue doing so. As long as you're not expecting a fancy resort, this is probably your best option on Cape Ann. Z”
