Beautifully decorated room and bathroom. Lobby is lacking in comfortable area for more than 4 customers. Looks like they intended to have a barista area or bar but just empty space with a few coffee fixings. Rain Shower had no pressure and the temperature of the water kept changing from hot to cool. No shower door made for a drafty shower experience. Only light in the bedroom is a lovely chandelier over the chair or the lights by the bed. Hope you don’t need to see anything. Insufficient parking. Television has no guide, spend much time searching for programming. QR code available for television guide doesn’t work.

For a boutique hotel it’s hard to find the nice touches. Front desk is either wonderful or harsh and insensitive. Awkward eating and no breakfast. A diner nearby. Pouring out and there isn’t a covered entrance. Coffee and tea sometimes available. Overpriced

At check in. All I asked for is a quiet room away from ice machine or elevator. I ended up on the second floor 3 doors away from ice machine, the door that slams next to the elevator, and something that sounded like a small washer that ran all night. Probably something in the front entrance I was directly above. 3 hours sleep. Sooo…why do people stay in hotels?

I lived in Parker for more than 25 years and remember when this hotel was built. I’ve always been curious about it. I moved to another part of the state two years ago and am back for a visit so i decided to try out the Ascent. Really nice boutique hotel. Beautiful spacious rooms and bathroom and so many dining choices within walking distance. Parking is challenging with all the side businesses in the same building. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.
