"The rooms get poor WiFi service, the WiFi is free and strong everywhere else. Breakfast is good, option for eggs made to order, fruit, breads, rice and beans. Beach club food was ok, nothing great. The pool is clean and lovely, and you came beat the ocean view from the front. Walking to and from the main road was safe at night. The paths in the hotel could be better lit at night. "

"The room was very clean and comfortable. However, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and also an air conditioner since it can get very warm and the ceiling fan alone does not cool the room down. The staff and owners are super friendly and very attentive. We left very early in the morning and the lady working in the kitchen (I believe her name was Gira) offered to prepare us some sandwiches, which super nice of her. One negative was that things do not dry since its super humid outside...

The grounds were filled with amazing plants and animals--howler monkeys, tucans, dart frogs, agouties--and while the ocean could be a bit rough, the tide pools were sandy bottomed and deep enough to swim in without being hit by waves. "Limón has a distinct, authentic vibe which is more relaxed yet still friendly and welcoming. Passersby on the street will say hello and take the time to chat or point out local attractions. It seems like a pricless time capsule to Costa Rica before big tourism arrived. Park Hotel is great. Breakfast is delicious and available early. Gorgeous views of the Limon waterfront area, located in a walkable neighborhood a few blocks from the MEPES/Caribeños bus stations, restaurants, and the city beaches with chill bars to have a beer and interact with the cities residents."
