"Nice hotel .Fair cost/Package. Normally I stay here during fair trips to GZ. Metro station entrance in park opposite . Very large famous seafood restaurant next door. Pear River night cruise jetty is only around 12 minutes walk from the hotel. Within the hotel vicinity there are numerous local restaurants that serve Local food but must get taxi to western type food & bars Rooms refurbished & modern"

"Really enjoyed my stay at Grand Kempinski. Location is convenient yet quiet. Several restaurants, a shopping mall and a subway station are all in walking distance. Staff were professional and friendly. Bellboys were very helpful. Our room has a nice view of the Bund. The only minor thing is that although the bathroom is decently-sized, I couldn't find a good spot for my toiletries. A design flaw I guess. "We had to move rooms twice because the rooms were dirty. The first room the carpets/floor hadn't been cleaned, there was crumbs of food all over the floor and on the chair within the room. We informed the front desk, who were actually very good, and were told it would be cleaned by the time we were back from a walk. It hadn't been cleaned some 5 hours later so they move us.
