Just wish the rooms were somewhat up to date like the lightening and the plug in sockets. Bathroom was fine. Shower door could use some tlc though. Other than that I’d stay again. ”

Eventually left a day early and switched to another hotel.”

“We loved our stay at the Pontchartrain Hotel. The friendly staff really made our experience, but the rooms are comfortable and clean, with large bathrooms. We also loved the rooftop bar and the food was great. Wish we had more time to use the streetcar to tour the area; the brief time we rode it, it was a fun way to see the area.”

“The hotel was sufficient for my purposes. I needed a place for myself and husband to stay for the Mudbug Madness Festival, which turned out to be right around the corner. Was not thrilled with the cafe in the lobby. We came back from the festival and wanted coffees, which ended up being ridiculously expensive! And, service was slow. The cakes we ordered to go with the coffee were good. We sat in the restaurant and everything was served in to-go containers?”

“I wasn’t a big of the location since need to Uber every time I would have preferred a hotel near French quarter or convention center But garden district area is nice for a walk but didn’t feel safe much walking along by myself Rooms are spacious no WiFi though in some rooms and I was moved to one to catch the signal Gym is small need an upgrade not many machines ”

“Everything was awesome but only one thing the hot tub was not hot and the pool area was surrounded by unsupervised kids also there was a group smoking weed right outside the pool area the security was great at night but I wish someone would have stayed on top of the outside area in the daytime besides that everything was good the food the employees everyone was friendly and kind and the room was extremely clean. ”
