The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We enjoyed speaking with "Mike" - he was cheerful and interesting to chat with over breakfast. I'd like to recognize Monica at the front desk. She was delightful and so helpful to us and our special request to check in early and meet our Machu Picchu guide, etc. She was very busy both……

“THIS HOTEL IS NOT IN RANGE FOR THE MACHU PICCHU OR SACRED VALLEY TOURS. The hotel and staff was very sweet and helpful but I did specifically book the Torre Dorada because I was under the impression we could be picked up for our tours, hosted by Lima Tours, but I was informed then evening before by a guide we had to meet them in the main square. Be prepared to wake up earlier for these tours. Otherwise, the hotel itself was nice! The pictures show a set up bar on the upper terrace but there was……

“Segunda vez q voy, esta vez fui con mi mami para pasar un tiempo juntas, fue un poco tedioso llegar al hotel x la carretera, no podíamos pedir delivery xq cambiaron las condiciones del hotel, si o si debes consumir en el restaurante del hotel o salir al centro a comer… la piscina no estaba en funcionamiento, pero la habitación estuvo impecable y las áreas comunes tienen bonita arquitectura ”

What surprises me the most was the hot water bag hidden in our quilt. How thoughtful is that! 100/100 recommend especially considering the cheap price!! Would def come back next time. ”
