The studio is plenty big enough for 2, bright, clean, airy and modern. The private beach about 3 mile long was one of the most spectacular I've seen in my 45+ countries. “This is the place to stay! The pictures do not do it justice! Clean and well taken care of. Everything you need is there so just bring swimming suits! Carol was wonderful and completely helpful on WhatsApp! Beach location is literally postcard and cannot say enough about Double Bay. “I have been going to Eleuthera for over 20 years. Every home is different and being on a remote island has its challenges for property owners. This home sits on a great beach with plenty of privacy. It was very clean and the check in process was super easy. Some items are worn, but everything works. The bed in the blue bedroom sways and is super soft (the only negative). Awesome view and nice location.”

Jethro is hands down the best home owner we have ever rented from. Immediate response in person if needed. Even though right on Banks Rd the privacy is perfect! “This is a fantastic house in a fantastic location on a fantastic natural island. The house sleeps 8 very comfortably and provides every modern convenience. A refreshing pool is two steps from the back balcony door and diving and snorkeling are a mere 10 yards further in your private back yard with stairwell down to the water. “We enjoyed our 10-day stay. The sweet house was everything we expected—Clean, well designed and organized, and close to Governor’s Harbor as well as points north and south. The weather was hotter than we expected, but AC worked well. I especially enjoyed daily “workouts in the small and very clean pool. Jethro, who lives nearby, was particularly helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend.”

“Well located on the center of the island, 8 min walk to a quiet beach. Super clean apartment, friendly owner. We appreciated the beach chairs we could take along with us. The only disappointment is that we thought from the listing the large balcony facing the ocean would be private and adjacent to our unit, but it is the owner's balcony which we could access. “Having seen the images and read the reviews we knew we were going somewhere nice but none of that does this place justice. It is super clean inside the cottage with everything we needed for our almost 2 weeks stay and we had the whole beach/bay to ourselves!
