I was a stranded solo traveler, and I booked the Marriott through Expedia (while sitting at the gate of a canceled flight in DFW with no hope of getting out late that evening). The hotel shuttle is convenient with a friendly & knowledgeable driver. The hotel itself is quiet, rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, gym and pool are nice. Little convenient store near the front desk had laundry detergent in single use packs. Front staff is helpful and friendly. Only a few minor complaints: 1. a waiter took my dinner to-go order then went on a break, so my order sat in the kitchen for an extra 20 min before I figured out I should ask the bartender to go look for it. 2. the laundry machines are coin-operated? What? IMHO the hotel needs to upgrade to machines that use smartphone pay or credit card because honestly, who carried $3 worth of quarters with them? while traveling? I haven't used a coin operated laundry machine that since college. And my grad school (over a decade and 1/2 ago) had laundry machines that took credit cards. But, if I didn't have to ask the front desk for quarters to wash the one set of clothes that I had with me and if I had gotten my food within a reasonable time frame, this rating would be 5 stars across the board. So I guess, word to the wise, carry some cash with you when traveling b.c you might not be able to use your phone to pay for everything even though it's 2024 at the Marriott, and ask where your food is the moment you think it's taking too long.

In the middle of nowhere but close to the airport. We needed a place to stay in a flight cancellation emergency. Would never choose here to explore the Dallas/Forth Worth area. Even though I added 2 breakfasts during the reservation process, and it clearly states that on the confirmation, they charged me an additional $27 after tax for 2 scrambled eggs and toast, so my spouse and I could both eat a breakfast we had to wait over an hour for. Front desk claims it’s an Expedia issue, which is supposedly the customer’s fault?! Airport shuttle driver was prompt and helpful.

Price was reasonable, I was stuck overnight at DFW. Only complaint - no free coffee in the morning. I had to take the shuttle at 6 a.m. and the coffee station (not free) didn't open until 6:30.
