“Great location. Pristine beach with hardly anyone else on the beach (mid May). No shampoo or conditioner in bathrooms as reported. The house needs a bit of TLC. Could be a bit cleaner. There was sand on the floor in the master bedroom upon our arrival. It seemed like there was white dog hair on the bedspread. I dont have a dog. The dishwasher seemed like it was working but was not getting the dishes clean. I think it is time for a new dishwasher.”

“This place was one of the best parts of my stay on LI. It is tucked away on a beautiful stretch of property but still close to central locations making it easy to go out for provisions. I "gifted" myself a stay here as a single-mother and former art maker. This was the first time I painted in 10+ years, the environment and the energy filled my cup to overflowing! “We stayed at the Preston Hotel for a short time but it made an impression on us and we would happily stay there again in the future. We arrived late and parking was easy, check in was quick, and my favorite detail of all— they had set up the sofa bed for us (most hotels don’t, in my experience) which was so nice for our tired kid to hop into as soon as we walked into the room. I slept really well in the main bed. It was super quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and……

“We had a big group here for a family reunion & to celebrate my grandmothers 90th birthday! We had kids between 1 year to 10 years old, a handful of young adults and everyone else 30+ years old and everyone had a good time. It wasn’t *spotless* when we arrived (still trash in a lot of the bathroom trash cans, socks were dirty immediately just from walking around, crumbs on shelves) but nothing a quick cleanup ourselves couldn’t fix. “The resort had everything we needed. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, spacey living room, close to the sea, playground for the kids, barbecue, pool, … It was very quiet (except for one night at the Memorial‘s Day weekend) and with a rental car you can start wonderful day trips from there. ”
