"Located in the heart of Charleston, the Mills House Hotel is a luxury hotel with all the ammeniteis. The courtyard has a beautiful fountain and large fireplace and we loved having drinks out here. It is also the outdoor dining section of one of the hotel restuarnts, Iron Rose, which we ate at several times and it was excellent. The pool area is lovely though a little small for the size tof the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the woman who took care of our room was a gem. They...
"Very cool place to stay. Near waterfront and market. Friendly, helpful staff. As we were leaving, we mentioned that we were going to Folly Beach. We were told that they have a sister property in Folly Beach and that we could use their pool, beach, parking. We did that and they were so friendly and helpful at Tides too."
"Nice people and property. Beds are super comfortable. Bathroom got very wet every shower because of having only a half door. Water didn’t totally drain and stood in bottom. Needs more hooks on walls for hanging toiletry bags, etc. Very conveniently located."

Clean Basics
"This is an older building that has been freshly painted. Our room was very clean; the bed comfortable and the towels were soft. No bells or whistles ie: in-room coffee maker or refrigerator, but it was adequate for our needs, being close to a wedding venue accross the bridge."

"Hotel was very well appointed and perfectly clean. It was convenient to have a bar at the hotel, and it had very good food. The staff were extremely helpful. The shuttle, which ran every hour into Charleston avoided driving and parking concerns. All in all a very excellent experience!
