Room had a dental pick left on floor and dirty blanket in closet. There was construction in room above us that went on for three of our 5 days all day long and past 5 pm. Pictures of property showed a much larger TV than the 20 inch that was in our room. Our room was listed as ocean view but there was not any view of the ocean from room. The pools were very nice.

Overall wonderful stay! The property was still undergoing repairs from hurricane season but it did not hinder our stay except for alternate parking (which was a little confusing to begin without the added construction, but it turned out fine). One complaint would be that the carpet was in desperate need of shampooing. Beautiful views and friendly staff. Wouldn’t question booking here again.

All the ammenties were amazing and people were so nice.the construction made it very difficult for us to get around. Made it work to be honest. Was not communicated either about work being done while booking condo.

The floor was not swept when we checked in. The door would not open the morning after checking requiring a call to Vacasa. Vacasa notified on site security to get us into the room in approximately 15 minutes and on site maintenance had fixed the problem within the afternoon while we were on the beach.

Overall i was satisfied. There need to be some improvements. The bathroom door needs repair. When the door is shut all the way you cannot get it open. The door to the ouside wax hard to open which needs repairing. The balcony view was splendid of the ocean and the swimming pool. The swimming pool was nice. The indoor pool was nice as well.

The area\beach was great. The room was clean. Just need to replace the old frumpy comforter with better quality quilt, throw out the fake plants and shabby welcome mat. Put down an area rug on the cold tile living room floor. It is a great space just terrible finishes. It might also be nice if Vacasa property mgmt would give correct key box entrance number when first contacted. Not only did they change our room number to something different from the origional reservation with Hotels.com but couldn't get the door code number correct. Will go back to Gulf Shores....but not to this vacation property management group. We stayed in room 1362 building 497.

BIG disappointment!!!
We stayed in another unit last year right next door to the one we had this year and it was amazing! This year we had high expectations because of that! Unit 1163 is horrible! It was dirty, the slats on the sliding glass doors blinds 8 were gone so even when it was closed anyone could see in! The furniture was dirty and the couch even had a hole in it. We had to make our own bed, there was rust all over the side of the fridge, some of the cabinet doors didn’t close all the way, you couldn’t use the closet because there was so much crap in it, there was urine at the base of the toilet, and the floors were dirty! NOW... all that being said Vacasa did reimburse us some of our cost and sent some one to clean and fix the blinds, but it was just a big disappointment! The grounds themselves were well maintained and looked nice. Pools were clean! It was unfortunately just the unit we got stuck in! I’d stay at Plantation West again but not in that unit for sure!

Great place, bad customer service
The place was perfect, clean, cute, and comfortable. The rental company is who I'm not happy with. It took me calling 3 times to get the room unlocked. The first lady told me to wait until after 4, the second gentleman told me he would call me back but never did, and the last gentleman reset the code over the phone. Also, the resort has an extra fee added to the stay.
