"My husband and our 2 dogs had a great time. We only stayed 2 nights, wish we could have stayed longer. I especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch, watching the rain pour down, and not getting a drop on me. The back deck and yard were also very enjoyable (no swimming for us, though). The woodwork and original elements are very special, and I feel lucky to have been able to experience them. Wonderful hosts also, very accommodating. I can think of nothing they could improve on."

"It was a busy weekend in the area, but the staff was super helpful and accommodating. The hotel is centrally located for downtown attractions. It was clean and nice. The free breakfast left something to be desired: there were not enough tables for everyone and the waffle maker wasn't working. Overall it was a good value."
