"My partner had never stayed in a yurt, and was a bit aprehensive (she's fancier than me). But the yurt and surrounding property were great. We were able to book it at a reasonable rate when everything else was super expensive (Labor day weekend), the yurt was clean and comfortable, we got to go on some pretty hikes in the area, then relaxed in the sauna afterwards (which we had to ourselves). Like other reviews are saying, if you're looking for something fancier you might be disappointed. But...

"Property is in good condition. It has the basic necessities it could use a new barbecue. It’s located in a good location away from crowds and traffic. We like the ability to ride atv’s from the house and it’s close to lakes and other scenic attractions."

"This is a beautiful, spacious, clean and cozy property. We love the location for access to Crater Lake and other amazing trails. The beds are so comfortable. We all slept well and enjoyed cooking in the big kitchen. Staying here really made the trip special."

"We loved this place. It's a fantastic location close to Crater Lake. Although our cabin was close to the road it wasn't too noisy and the facilities inside surprised us. The bathroom was fine with a decent shower and the room facilities quite adequate. We stayed in cabin 9 which had 2 beds - a small double and a single, fridge and microwave and air conditioning, which was very welcome, if a little noisy. The outside seating area was lovely and the ice cream shop across the road not to be missed!...

"The lodge owner JoAnne came to meet us as we pulled up in our truck. She gave a quick tour of the facility and our room. Very welcoming of our small dog, Bill. Invited us to a potluck on site that evening. There was an awesome musical trio of JoAnne’s friends. They played folk and rock tunes from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s until about 9 pm. Very cool! Room and our restroom very clean. Bed very comfy. Best of all a fresh loaf of banana bread awaited us in our room. Very cool!"
