The town of Idyllwild is really a must-see. There are no brand shops and no franchise brands in the town. The support of local brands and employers is great. Safe, quiet and also very green.

Nice cabin but not what was expected
"Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Idyllwild Inn. The cabin looked somewhat recently renovated and it was nice and clean with good amenities. We went when there was a heatwave. It should have been in the 30's and 40's, but it got as warm as 60's. There was hardly any snow (kind of the whole point of the trip). Idyllwild is as nice as always.

I love this town so much. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and how nice everyone was. Really really kind and great people. I loved the stars at night and how quiet it got at night

Love going to Idyllwild for the hiking opportunities, nature, the small town feel with lots of options for shopping and eating and just relaxing. Plus it's an easy 2 hour scenic drive from San Diego.
