The building was a little bit dingy but the actual apartment was very cute. It was clean and had everything I needed while I was there. We were warned about the stairs, and honestly, they weren't a problem until the last day. I think we were just tired and 8 flights of stairs with luggage was a little much. "We had never been to this exact part of KC, but after this stay, we love it! It is Close to a great farmers style market, a nicely shaded park and a lot of diverse restaurants. This specific loft is more like a smaller studio apartment, with a bed, an air mattress & a couch. It worked fine for my wife and two kids.
