“Perfect for a large group/ family, can’t say enough great things about this house. Classic NOLA beauty. Gorgeous Details abound. . Everyone had very private quarters. our elderly parents were perfectly situated on the main floor, no stairs was a bonus for them. The kids loved the pool. Sitting on the porch under the fans with our sazeracs and bloody mary’s was a Marigny delight. Perfect location for that quiet neighborhood vibe, yet a short walk to everything. “Super well appointed. Plenty of space for 6 people, close enough to all the activities but far enough that it felt like we could truely decompress at the end of the night. There’s a trolly 3 blocks away but don’t count on using it, it was completely full every time we tried to- however it was spring break so that may have contributed to the crowdedness. “We booked the property for our daughters graduation weekend. Upon arrival at 3pm there were about 10 people furiously cleaning the property. Apparently the guests before us had a massive party. We were told over 200 people. So instead of a nice arrival we were stepping over vacume cleaners and guys repairing doors etc. They didn’t leave completely until 4:30 and we were left to fold the last batch of towels in the dryer. This is dispite the house rules that were sent saying NO Parties. Also no……

“My husband and I were celebrating with our wedding party and stayed at this amazingly affordable spot in NOLA. Near all where you want to be in an up and coming neighborhood. We could not have asked for a better place for our group of 13. The bathroom situation is solid with all 4 rooms being accessible via the main room. I do wish they updated the description as they do not have a hot tub outside (no jets!). The place could use some love and investment, it really is a gem and could shine even……

“I rented this property for my husband's 40th birthday. The good: Visually, it is stunning. We had a 10 person dinner party on Saturday. We enjoyed a pre-dinner cocktail hour before the dinner upstairs near the bar. The dinner was flawless (shout out to Furloughed Four) and everyone enjoyed themselves. “Our group of 7 adults enjoyed the property. It was about a 3 block walk to the St. Charles streetcar, so eliminated having to drive. The property itself was so fun, we felt we were staying in a funky museum.”

“Noisy neighbors for our first three nights of our stay up until 2:00 am with screaming kids and party parents. Lots of street noise. We were not made aware that we were staying in an upstairs unit with a flight of very steep stairs. Kitchen was outfitted with dollar store knives and sheet pans. Bath towels were very thin except for three.”

“No communication with the property owner. VRBO associates was useless. Had to rent a hotel. Nothing was covered or reimbursed by VROB and the guarantee was a sham. VRBO staff was no help. Check in was 3pm; didn’t check in and had no help. We were stranded for over 12 hours in the car.”

“We liked how large the rooms were. Everything was fully stocked which was nice. The kitchen knives were terribly dull which was annoying but not the end of the world. The only pan in the apartment was an old nonstick pan which was all scratched and flaking off which is toxic so we had to make everything in a pot. The pool was continuously dirty and foggy, we decided not to use it because it was so dirty. All in all, it was a nice stay and we appreciated having all the amenities of home while on……
