"I have mostly good things to say, but the neighborhood was not great and no hot tub on property. Extremely clean, easy check in, very attentive owners. A local young man greeted us shortly after arrival, nice touch. We thought we left something behind and owners responded immediately. The inside is as described. Upstairs has very low ceilings. We had 3 adults and the owner reached out to us right away to make sure we were ok with that. However, the neighborhood is not great. Its in a rundown...

"Cottage was clean and as listed in the description. Check-in was easy. There is a small market nearby for those last-minute items you may want/need. Overall a great place to stay while visiting the redwoods!"

"We stayed here for 4 nights, it’s a very cute place with everything you can think of amenity wise, I don’t think I’ve stayed at a place with as much as this one. The only two songs I’d give it is we noticed a lot of homeless people walking down the street, we never felt scared but it detracted from the rest. The other issue was the mustiness of the place. It was best to leave a window or two open with a fan on during the day. I would stay here again as it was a great overall value."

"Very comfortable, amenities were great and the cottage was adjacent to downtown Brookings. Walks along the back and views were spectacular. As a dog friendly stay, this was also a bonus for the entire family to enjoy a nice getaway along the coast."

"This house was perfect! I was nervous at first since this was our first time renting a house for a few days but I’m so happy I did. Everything went so smooth. When we arrived, everything was clean. The house was even more beautiful in person. I love the huge yard and how secluded you feel from anyone else. You can also see the ocean from upstairs which is really cool. Highly recommend this house, you will not regret it. We will definitely be staying here next time we come to the area! "

"Thank you! This place is beautiful, peaceful and, joyful. We loved our stay. Kayaking on the shallow river, grilling hamburgers and using the hot tub! It was nice to wake up and see a beautiful peaceful barn with horse and the river. It had a very easy location to go where we wanted to go. We had an amazing trip! Cynthia"

"The property itself is gorgeous. Inside the cottage however, there were some house keeping issues when we arrived: old coffee spill stains on the stove top, crumbs from old food were left in the microwave and toaster oven, all of the drawers where eating utensils were kept also had diet and old crumbs of food, one burner did not work on the stove top, all outside chairs and barbecue had dirt and cobwebs all over them. Other than that, it was an incredibly enjoyable, comfortable, homey cottage...

"This rental was wonderful! It is so comfy and cozy I could easily live in it year round. The proximity to the beach was perfect: very easy walk. The back yard was great for the dogs. The little oil stove in the livingroom was perfect on those rainy mornings. I would highly recommend this property!"

"The home itself was great, came with all basic necessities needed, comfortable space and nice yard. The one downside was the bugs - a lot of cobwebs in the house, spiders and slugs. Overall good place to stay in a quiet area that is easy to find in the heavy fog. Easy access to Redwoods either direction too. "
