“Hotel is still recovering from wildfire events last summer, so breakfast restaurant is still not opened and you receive a kind of breakfast pack if your booking includes it. Other than that, staffing is gentle and helpful, hotel activities are pretty interesting and recommended if you want to learn about Hawaian culture and traditions. The beach is incredible and the location is top. Hope they can recover everything and back to normal soon to give guests all the potential this hotel has.”

“Location and pool area are fantastic but the food at the pool bar is awful. The hotel needs updating too. The elevator and hallways smell old and musty. Our washing machine didn’t clean the clothes at all and the oven literally took 30mins to preheat. We had an ocean view but it was not direct and for what we paid for the room, I felt ocean view was false advertisement. You can’t see it from the living room. Bartenders and staff were fantastic though.”

“Great unit and location. As others stated the unit is dated but it was very clean and has everything you need as well as extras like beach equipment, chairs, a cooler and lots of kitchen essentials. Walking distance to ABC, a grocery store and food trucks. The view was outstanding and the pools and grounds were beautiful. Would definitely book this unit again. ”

However, a few things that didn’t meet our expectations were the following: -overall checkin was frustrating and communication was lacking from the property management company. -lack of items in unit such as towels. “We had the best stay at Maui Marriott Ocean Club! Everything went smoothly from the time we checked in. The best part was the free parking in the garage! Our condo had the most incredible view from the balcony. We loved the kitchenette and fridge fir all our groceries we bought before we arrived. “Conveniently located on the Ka’anapali walkway. Perfectly sized two bedroom Condo, at Honua Kai with Lanai over looking the mountains Well equipped with nice pots, pans, knives etc.”

“A large studio condo with a great mountain view and amenities. Lovely Oceanside pool and spa with gate access to a walkable beach with good swimming. An easy walk to shops and restaurants in Lahaina. We had parking in an underground garage for our rental car. The daily parking fee was less than $5 per day.
