This place is at the end of the strip and is extremely expensive!!! Rooms are only average and honestly I would never return. The wave pool is not really a wave pool, only one wave goes out every 3 min. no place to really eat within reason of price. Our room had a view of the airport which was not bad, but really nothing special. This place is a huge money grab! stay mid strip or better yet, find a great place like the Orleans and enjoy a night of comfort and piece of mind with meals 1/4 the cost and much more delicious. Orleans was only 55$ per night during the week and the casino was so much better.

We booked for the wave pool and lazy river but got more out of our stay. It has a free Tram that connects to Luxor and Excalibur. So you can go sightseeing as much as you want. There are lots of options for dining as well. It is close to the new popstroke (putt place owned by Tiger Woods) and South Premium Outlet Mall.

The lazy river area was dirty and over crowded. There was not proper shade. Umbrellas should have been a given due to the resort fee. The room service fees are very vague on the bill. The automatic billing of the in room snacks is unacceptable. Items should not be automatically charged when a sensor is activated without proof of consumption. The room staff knew the items were not consumed but billed. That is unacceptable. I am still not comfortable all items have been removed.

Beautiful hotel. Quite a ways from strip. Took the tram. 45 minutes to get to Venetian. Very expensive for shopping etc. most restaurants were reasonably priced I can’t believe they don’t give u free coffee for room. Never in all my travels. Ridiculous. Not sure who would ever pay 16 dollars for coffee. The tray on counter has bottles Fiji water only $22 dollars lol. Tray is censored so is fridge. There is a sign telling u so don’t be opening fridge or u will get charged 50. We went across to McDonald’s to grab coffee and oatmeal. Gas station for water and alcohol. Pool at mandalay was beautiful but reviews are right. If u aren’t there at 8 u will have hard time getting a shady spot alcohol is also expensive. 5 beers for 50 plus tax. There are water stations everywhere Another very expensive thing were cabana rental. Starts at ?550. Really that utterly ridiculous. If I were ever to come back to Vegas I would stay closer to strip

Upon check in my room was not ready. So I was told I would receive a text message that would notify me when my room was ready. I never received a such message, I had my to make check in line twice. Lost of time and really inconvenient for me.

You can’t beat Mandalay Bay, nice rooms although showing wear and tear slightly. The only way to get a nicer room would be to go up significantly in price. The bathrooms are well appointed and have closed door for commode. This is a nice touch. Views are stellar.

The digital check in and check out was seamless. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The beach and pools were excellent. The only negative was how expensive everything was.
